"Spacebank" or "Deposit" your Timeshare Weeks
There is really only one way to deposit your weeks into your RCI account, and that is to go through the resort.
Your maintenance fees must be paid prior to banking your week so MountAmanzi.com has made it easier for our
clients with a secure online payment form. The fees are sent directly to the resort and once the resort has
confirmed payment the week(s) is deposited into your RCI Account.
RCI CANNOT BANK YOUR WEEK
It is impossible to bank your weeks through RCI USA, if you attempt to bank your weeks with a counselor, you will receive
a spacebank return notice, due to the fact that your yearly dues must be paid prior to the spacebanking of your week.
To do this, you can fill out the secure online payment form, or visit the List of Resorts
to contact the resort you have ownership with.
Maintenance Fees Schedule / Annual Levy Statement
Maintenance fees are yearly dues paid to the resort for the general upkeep of the resort and staff. You must remember that
all material received from the resort will have there terms and currency on the literature. The Levy statement is is their term
for Maintenance Fees. The currency in South African is the South African Rand (ZAR): example: R1800 Remember, your
maintenance fees, or levies, are due every year, and you must pay your dues prior to banking your weeks,
maintenance fees are due each year and payable 1 year in advance.
SpaceBank Weeks:
You have a 3-year window to use your week. Your start date (which is assigned by the resort) will dictate your usage
windows.
For example: If you have an:Apr 2, 2004 week. You can use your week from Apr. 2003 until April 2006.
1 year prior
2 years after.
